Any dos and dont's during FET cycle?

Today is CD 2 and I will be doing a natural FET this cycle. Is there anything I should or shouldn't be doing? Of course, my doc office didn't mention anything so I've emailed my nurse to double check, but figured I'd ask the experts.

I thought I remember hearing sex is off limits. Anything else?

I'm also doing a FET, I'm on cycle day 12. I never heard of sex being off limits before the transfer, I've heard of it being an issue after the transfer. Though I'm certainly no expert- it's possible that every clinic has their own shtick. Did your clinic specifically tell you to abstain? Curious....I might have some explaining to do Chat Icon

Sorry, apparently I was starting a rumor! It is not necessary to abstain before the transfer (I checked with my nurse), but contraception is recommended. I don't know why I thought sex was off limits -- my bad! My nurse also said one cup of caffeine a day, alcohol okay before transfer, but not after. And that's pretty much it.

Best of luck with your transfer as well!
