Low progesterone
I had my second beta today. My numbers went from 100-465. But my progesterone dropped from 9-4.5. Has this happened to anyone? Please tell me the good, bad and ugly?

Re: Low progesterone
Did they put you on progesterone supplements? Low progesterone is pretty easily fixed.

Re: Low progesterone
When I was pregnant with DD my progesterone was low after my first beta. They increased my progesterone. I did progesterone IM and suppositories. Everything worked out great! DD is almost 3.

Suppositories won't show up in your bloodstream anyway, so that wouldn't affect your blood test numbers. Seems smarter to go on PIO and get a more accurate read.

Low progesterone
Thanks everyone. I got a progesterone check and it jumped from 4.5 to 17. I'm still hesitant, but a little more hopeful

Re: Low progesterone
Progesterone checks are notoriously unreliable. A lot of doctors won't even do them. Your progesterone dips after you eat; it dips in the afternoon, etc. A progesterone of 17 at - what? - 5 weeks pregnant? That sounds ok. The rising beta is what's important and yours did great. Good luck!
