question about "Allergies" / light headness
quick background - I had an episode of vertigo 2 years ago. It lasted for a day, but I suffered from light headedness/felt off/heavy head for about 2 months afterward. I heard that's a common after effect of vertigo.
Now about 2 weeks ago, I felt the "after effects" again. Head felt heavy, if I move my head, it feels like it is a split second behind. I just felt off. Slightly off balance, headache.
I mentioned it to a coworker and she said that she gets that too and its due to allergies.
I've always thought Allergies due to pollen were: runny nose itchy/watery eyes sneezing
I had none of those symptoms. Nose was not even stuffy.
Anyone else experience this before? Is it due to allergies? Or maybe change of seasons/atmospheric pressure?

question about
I'm been feeling like this too. I also think it might be allergy related but don't have the "classic" allergy symptoms. Slight dizziness, head feels off, tired. I was thinking the same thing allergy or pressure related, seems to happen during allergy season the most.

Re: question about "Allergies" / light headness
That's my allergy symptoms
I don't get itchy eyes and runny nose. I get light headed, dizzy and just "off" in general.
A lot of my allergies are in my sinuses. It doesn't always present as sinus pressure - i just feel dizzy and light headed.
Zyrtec at night and Flonase in the morning has been helping. But still, some days - it's just bad

question about
no runny nose...but is your nose stuffed? any sneezing?
how the heck are we supposed to know its allergies (with these non-allergy symptoms) or we're in the middle of a neurological event?

Nothing that tells me it's your average allergy symptoms.
I've gone to the dr to rule out neuro/heart issues. And allergy meds combined seem to help a lot.
I always feel a bit nervous that I'm ignoring something bad and thinking its allergies. But I can't live thinking I'm dying constantly lol
I notice it's worse when I'm outside a lot or have windows open. Taking the dogs to the park is the worst And the meds do make a difference

always a good idea to see an ENT with vertigo symptoms.
