Child health plus
Anyone opt for this instead of covering kids under employer plan? How is the coverage and cost? Are the here any negatives to putting kids on this over an employer plan if employer plan has deductible and copays?

Child health plus
We put our kids on it when my husband got a new job and we had a 60 day waiting period. They are staying on and we went on my husband new job coverage. There are zero copays and your premium is based on your income and size of your family. Many Drs take it and pm pediatrics also does. So far so good

Re: Child health plus
We got child health plus when we picked a pediatrician that didn't take DH's healthplan. My employer only covers me and I would have to pay for DS in full.
We chose Fidelis Care and my pediatrician takes almost all Child Health Plus plan. The cost is like $180 a month I think but we've been to the doctor about 6 times since Jan plus a trip to the ER and DS needed an Ultrasound and we haven't paid a dime for any visits. I'm really happy with it and find it well worth it. DS is covered for a ton of stuff like vision, dental etc.
