Child Health Plus/Empire BCBS will be the death of me - please come in if you are familiar with their crap

So, I have a confession.

Back in December, my payment for CHP bounced, and they dropped Cailen from his plan.

I tried to reinstate it, but since DH was between jobs, we never seemed to have the right paper work to prove his income (or lack of income)

Finally, FINALLY, after many tearful phone calls, got everything they needed to get that glorious letter saying - "welcome to CHP - pay us this much now.... (as of July 2010)"

I promptly sent the payment in, relieved that my child, after 7 mts of praying nothing ever happened to him - was covered again.

Now, I am getting notice of termination letters dated for December 2009 Saying I failed to pay Dec 09 - Jan 2010, so I will be terminated!!!

That makes no sense! I haver termination letters from that time! They are giving me expired payment deadlines.

I will call tomorrow, but please tell me this is some weird glitch and everything will be ok - I don't have to pay for months he was terminated and not covered, right????? Does that make ANY sense?????
