Kitten can u be my client? Lol so generous! For that bill my clients generally tip 10 to 20 dollars. Although twenty percent would be 24 dollars. Tipping for shampoo generally would be 2 to 5 dollars xo

I pay $74 for cut and color. I trip her $30 I give the shampoo girl (does the toner and checks me often) $10.

20% for stylist. Depending on what the shampoo girls does. Sometimes if my stylist is busy she does more sometimes it's literally just wash.

My hairdressers are a husband and wife team: she does my color and he does my cut. They also own the place. I have always tipped her $20, him $10 and the hairwasher $5. Now, they have drastically increased their prices over the years (it costs me about $300 each visit) but I have kept their tip the same. I know it only come out to about 10%, but their service is very expensive and (minus overhead), it all goes in their pocket and I don't feel bad about it.

A what would you have tipped question
$20/$5. All the time, no matter what I do. I can't do 20% on my hair every time and I'm just not going to try. I tip everyone that touches my hair, which can be anywhere from 2-4 people if she had someone else do my blow out, add the toner, wash, whatever. I'm not giving anyone more than $20, and I'm not interested in handing out more than $50 in tips. Besides, my hair dresser is the owner anyway.
