Anyone do intralipids outside of SIRM?
Has anyone done intralipids at an infusion center, or at home?
I went for a second opinion at SIRM and because of a DQ Alpha match, they suggested intralipids. Since my frozen embryos are at Cornell, SIRM would charge me a $500 facility fee if I do the intralipids with them (since I didn't cycle at SIRM). They said that insurance won't cover the facility fee. They said I can use an outside infusion center if I want.
The only infusion center that does intralipids is Option Care in College Point. They actually come to the house. At this point, I just know that they take my insurance but I don't know how much I'd have to pay.
Has anyone had experience with Option Care or another infusion center for intralipids? I can get it done at SIRM but I'd rather not pay the $500 fee if I can avoid it.

Re: Anyone do intralipids outside of SIRM?
I believe I used them, I think it used to be called Trinity healthcare owned by Walgreens if it's the same place I'm talking about. The first time it was covered by my insurance but this pregnancy it wasn't. It was over $400. I can't remember exactly either 425 or 450, I'm drawing a blank. But it was really convenient. They would ship the supplies and meds and the same nurse comes each time to your house. If you use them ask for Carol. I used her for both pregnancies and she was great. Your not saving much $ if it's not covered but definitely more convenient.
