Clogged ducts
Started out with one small clogged duct a few days ago that seems to be getting better and now have a few more each day. This is awful...anyone else deal with them continuously? I have been able to push some of them out in the hot shower and have them subside a bit but I just keep getting more in different spots.
Any advice??

Clogged ducts
Ugh they suck. I had a lot. They're painful. The best thing is to just nurse them out.

Massage, massage, massage. A warm compress or hot shower. Unfortunately pumping and feeding is the best remedy...should clear up as your supply drops. Maybe pump for a few minutes just to clear it up. They suck. Feel better!

Do you ladies think I should continue pumping for same amount of time or reduce to help wean? Or should I wait until all clogs r gone to wean? Thanks!!

I had the worst clogged ducts when I was trying to wean! The problem with taking hot showers is that the warm water also helps to produce milk, so you really don't want to take long hot showers. I would just use warm compresses and massage the duct as much as possible. I would also wear a very tight sports bra with slim ice packs in to relieve the pain.
I would definitely reduce your pumping if you want to wean because continuing to pump the same amount of time or more to get out the clogged duct is only going to signal your body to produce more milk.

For clogged ducts, I've massaged, warm shower/compresses, I think I even attempted to pump a couple of times and nothing worked. But what did work as a charm was "dangle feeding". U have to bfeed while leaning over baby on a flat surface. It's very important though that ur LO's jaw is right under ur blocked duct. It's not the most comfortable position, but for me it worked great with what I needed it, and I think it only took a few minutes to notice a difference.

I've done the dangle feeding, but even just having the baby's chin pointed toward the clog works like a miracle. It's the only thing that helps me!
And yes, definitely cut down on your pump time to lower your supply!
