Losing it!!! :-/

so... DS, my only baby that i've been home with for 4 years (since we adopted him)... starts full-day kindergarten tomorrow!!
i know its time, and I know he's ready... he liked his half-day preschool the past couple years. But i'm just SO SO sad that this phase is ending
no more after-preschool lunch dates to Panera. No more going to things like the local farm or jump place during the week when they're not crowded, no more spending a random Tuesday afternoon at the playground. No more chatting with the other preschool moms everyday at pick-up or drop-off... its just a whole phase thats ending
i know i'm nuts... but just needed to vent thanks for listening!!

I hear ya! My little guy is starting full day pre-k on Thursday and I don't know what I'm gonna do without my little sidekick!! Why can't we freeze time???

Hugs, it will be ok, just different. He will still be able to do all of those things with you, just at different times.

I'm right there with you! My youngest started last week and I'm sad! After 12 years of being a SAHM, I have no kids at home! I'm keeping busy but it's just too quiet in the house! I know it takes time and I will eventually get used to this new schedule. I have no plans to return to work so I'm going to use this time to focus on me. After 12 years, I deserve it! Aw not nuts at all! I would feel the same way. I'm mourning the end of summer and going back to work. I love my routine with my girl, as crazy as it gets sometimes.
