Rental car
We are renting a car next month to road trip to FL for our wedding. We have too much stuff to bring with us to fly, so driving is much easier.
My question is, when you rent a car for something like this do you tell them that you are going to be driving out of state, or do you just take the it's unlimited miles and it is what is?
Only asking cause we had rented a car in March to go to Ohio when we were apartment hunting and at enterprise they had asked and stupidly I said we were driving to Ohio and they hit us with an extra mileage fee
TIA

Rental car
Just make sure the rental agreement doesn't say you can't take it out of state. I think sometimes they do, so just check, or call and ask ahead of time

Re: Rental car
I've rented many cars in the past and a few recently to go out of state. I know for a fact Hertz will allow you to take it out of state without saying anything as well as Budget. Just make sure it's unlimited miles, you dont have to be specific.
My mastercard from capital one covers car rental insurance in case something goes wrong, check the perks on your cards that may help keep costs down.
