I know it depends on so much BUT LOL....

If you put an addition on your house, how much did it cost?

We have a cape and I want to add a den off of the dining room (which originally was the masterbdrm - just so those with capes know what/where I'm talking about)

Nothing huge, no basement but I do want it the same level as dining room (no step down) - there will be a vaulted ceiling.

The plan is to have it built (maybe a shells only type of company or contractor) and then finish it ourselves. We are able to have most of the finishes done by family and ourselves.
BUT if the price isn't too much to have it completed, we'd do that too. (To save us headaches)

As you see, I have no idea wth we are even doing but it's in the works for spring 2018. Figured I'd ask around and get ideas from now.

So - if you've done an addition like this, can you tell me the size of the room, extras , etc and overall price you wound up paying.
