What's the coolest feature of your car?

Doesn't have to be high-tech, or cutting edge, just "cool" in your opinion. Even an adjustable cup holder is cool if it makes commuting easier for you...

I like the backup cameras. I installed them on all of my cars myself, but since they're part of the car now, they count.

For my much older 01 Tribute...
Its a tough call between the intake and the speakers. Man I LOOOOOOOOOOVE that get up and go that extra intake gives when I hit the gas. You FEEL it. Good god yes.. and the speakers. The sound is just freaking AMAZING!

My new 2011 CX7
Meh it's just the workhorse lately. I love all it's features. That's the best thing about it. Its all included and it's affordable as hell! $250 a month (because I always round up with my payments). I think that I can feel the supple leather on the handles while still have easy to clean cloth tan interior for the rest has been a major bonus!

We are using the CX7 as a holder until we get a Mazda6 again and start to modify again.

Now my old Mazda6 That baby had so much stuff... Stitched yellow submarine shoulder pads, K&N CAI, magnaflow exhaust, euro tails with LEDs, LED bumper lights, modified throttle body (with bypass), Painted air vents to match the yellow exterior, darkened side markers, darkened emblem, led red light interior lighting along dash and foot boards, replaced door runners, removed door guards, replaced front grill, aftermarket fogs, spring low profile wheels....

*Sigh* Miss that car.. but I still carry the special hand cut wooden Yellow Submarine Painted in Mazda SpeedYellow hung from my mirror..

God my car is so old (2006) so even thought it was fully loaded and cutting edge at the time, now it seems so outdated.

Doesn't' even have Bluetooth for my cell phone.

I guess the heated seats and remote start are awesome in the winter

When I first got it, I was in LOVE with the 5 panel panoramic sunroof-but that has since broke and won't even open anymore.


Can't wait to get myself something new soon!

Back up camera. I can live without my heated seats, and sunroof, but I can't go back to no back up camera. I honestly hate having to switch cars with my DH bc he doesn't have one.

Not only do I have back up cameras...I have front cameras.

What's the coolest feature of your car?

I LOVE having keyless entry - never have to go digging in my pocketbook to find the keys. And since we enter and leave our house through the garage 99% of the time, I have the Homelink set to open the garage door - so I never have to go searching for my keys. Can't even remember the last time I used a key for anything. Can't say enough how much I LOVE never having to find my keys!

I also love that it is impossible to lock the keys (fob) in the car - the doors will not lock from the outside if the key fob is in the car (and the trunk will not latch shut if it's in there)

(There are a lot of other features I really like too and would never do without again - back up camera, bluetooth phone connection, navigation system, heated seats, 2 position power seat memory)

i have an old '05 santa fe.

has absolutely nothing cutting edge or cool. gets me from point A to point B. that's it lol.

but i am emotionally attached. it's the car that got me to CA from NJ. the summer DS and i spent in it will be a life-long memory!!

oh, the cool thing about my car... added after market, is that when you pull down my sun-visor, there are two pictures DS taped there. one of his HS graduation and one of his Marine graduation. EVERY TIME i take the car to the shop for whatever reason... usually an oil change... every single mechanic thanks me for my son's service.

I think I'd have to say the ac lol. I have what I call the sahm/one income model caravan. Nothing cool about it.

My last car was a civic hybrid and I liked the instantaneous fuel efficiency Guage. It was like a game to keep it as high as possible and I rally learned how to drive efficiently.

on the 04 volvo - it's got to be the heated seats. BEST. INVENTION. EVER. I love having a warm butt when driving.

On the 2013 lexus - satellite radio and memory seats. DH and I switch cars a lot. He's 6'3" I'm 5'0" While it's great having the power seats in the volvo, I spend about 10 minutes after he drives it getting the seat and mirrors back to the exact positions I like. With the Lexus, I just hit driver 2 and I'm good to go!

I love the projection on my windshield of the odometer and navigation.

Editing to add the remote start. I don't think I could ever have a car without it. Especially with young kids. I can cool it offf in summer and warm it up in winter before even getting in.

I LOOOOOOOVE the blind spot monitoring feature. It works amazing and is a huge help with a big truck.

I also LOVE my heated and air conditioned seats!!

LOVE remote start too, especially in the winter!!

I love that when we're in our '72 Dart, people don't drive like assholes around us. Why? Because the body isn't frickin plastic. They know that our car would tear their's to shreds.

Also the side pipes make it really loud in an obnoxious way.

I like the button that changes how the car acts and uses fuel. There is the Eco button for saving fuel, the Comfort button for regular use, and the Sport button.

The Sport button works really well when I'm on the no speed limit parts of the Autobahn and I need to pass someone quickly. It's like a little boost button .

Oh and I like the heated seats, too.
