Cold Feet

Anyone get cold feet right before they were going to start treatment?

I know its normal to feel scared and anxious but I am having hard time deciding whether its just normal cold feet everyone in the process goes thru or this process really is not for me.

I think what complicates our decision is that we have one DS conceived naturally which I feel may be a little different from those trying for their first.

Time waits for no one especially me with my next to zero reserves so it's not like I can take all the time in the world to make up my mind.

Anyone have advice that has worked for them in their decision making process?

Me! I just had to bite the bullet and do it. Right now, I need to take my own advice if I want a second.

I am most apprehensive about the actual medicine and the effect it may have on my body and not feeling like myself.

Second most I am concerned with the logistics of injecting the medicine at the times needed and balancing that with work full time and a toddler at home. I envision being stressed about getting him to bed on time or a scenario where he's screaming his head off and I have to stop and do my shots and not make any errors.

I was worried about taking the meds, what if I'm off by a few min, what if Im out for the night. You will figure it our, its only for a couple of weeks. For the Jewish holidays, I go to temple, which was going to throw my meds off by a few hours bc I would not be home on time. The Dr said just take before I leave, not wot worry. GL

I didn't feel very different on meds, other than bloating towards the end. But it's really not bad.

As for the logistics of the injections? It's very quick. No more than a couple of minutes to prep the meds, clean the area, inject, and then clean up. And trust me, if you're worried about your toddler while you need to leave for 2 mins, that's nothing compared to having a newborn at home! Seriously, don't stress yourself out. It's only for a couple of mins a day for a couple of weeks.

I definitely had cold feet. I had my first naturally as well and I kept thinking and hoping that it would just happen on its own, it didn't obviously but it delayed me starting by 6 months.
