Just added two more days to our reservation! August 29th until September 6th. All my reservations are made and now just waiting to see if the free dining comes out and if I have to move hotels to qualify or what not.

I gave my TA the go ahead to change us to anything within 1,000.00 to get that free dining lol!

haha same here!!!

Rumor has it that free dining will drop on Monday.

I am between AoA and POR (if POR doesn't get excluded from free dining)

Waiting with baited breath. Hope I get it. Eeeeeh

According to the rumors my dates would be covered. And I'm in a deluxe so I should get the regular dining plan, not just quick service.

But you never know on availability. I'm so nervous lol. That's a lot of money to save!

Yeah they're def phasing out the free dining by making it less and less appealing and less of a value if it requires all the upgrades just to get it.

Trying to decide if I should book my flights now or wait to see if there are better fares later.... Would prefer to fly Jet Blue since they have an early flight into Orlando.. it's currently $154 each way and the trip is in November.

What do you find is a "standard" rate to fly NY to Orlando?

Chances are the fares won't be going back down. When they first release the dates they go up and down but at some point they stop going down.

I'd say under $300 r/t per person.

Newbie question!!! Ive been to disney and stayed on property. But i have no experience in booking reservations. Tomorrow is my 180 day mark. I have my list of places i'd like reservations for. Whats the best plan of attack? What time do i have to be up and ready to book? Also i plan on doing bippity boppity boo and cinderellas royal table. Any suggestions on lunch or dinner? I figured i would do BBB before.

So exciting! Be up at 6am and already logged into your Disney account. Have a cc already saved inyour profile.

Start with your must have, more difficult ones (be our guest lunch or dinner, etc.) and book those first. Do not go in chronological order.

Look at the menus and see what you'd prefer. Some offer diff lunch and dinner menus, others are the same menus.

I booked everything I wanted no problem! I wanted to make a reservation at Big River Grill by the Boardwalk and it wasn't even a option to do so. I'll call later to see why. But just so i had something I decided on Ohana for dinner. I figured BRG i could pay out of pocket for. Now i have to call for BBB.

You could book big river grill on OpenTable. You have to wait to do it since it's too far out now.

Editing. It looks like it's only avail on tuesdays?! Weird.

Anyone try to get their free dining offer for fall dates today? It's a pretty crappy offer. It's only a quick serve for moderates and you have to buy the park hopper. Then when I went in to book, none of the moderates where available for the late sept dates I chose. Disney is getting so big for its britches!

They're phasing it out and making it not as good of a deal. We didn't get it bc it wasn't avail for or resort and room type and I wasn't willing to move to anything that was avail for my dates.
