Self tanning mitt
Do you use a mitt when you apply self tanner or does it work just fine with your hand or latex glove (so your hand doesn't get discolored)?

I always used my hands. I feel I get a more even coverage with my hands.
I just make sure to thoroughly scrub my palms immediately after

Self tanning mitt
I use my hands but recently noticed my nails are getting tan as well, so I'm going to look into getting a mitt.

Put some lotion or even aquafor on your nails and cuticles before using the self tanner.
That was a trick my spray tan lady showed me.

I use a mitt. For me, I get a much more even application. And I don't have to worry so much about orange palms.
The mitt also allows for a more even coverage over the hands.When I would apply in the past with my hands since I had to wash the color off my palms, I'd always have a line at my wrist. Now, I just use the mitt to apply self tanner to the backs of my hands, and it is way more blended.
