Back Trying for Baby #2

Hi ladies! I'm joining you here again as we try for #2. I was on these boards in 2013/14. We had DD in 2014. We've actually been trying for #2 almost a year using OPKs. I'm starting to get concerned and I want to go to an RE but DH isnt totally on board

for all!

Welcome back! My first dc was conceived on the first try and then dc 2 took about a year and we're now on 13 months for dc 3. So don't get too concerned. Have you gone to your regular ob? They can do basic testing. Even though we are on 13 months I'm not entirely concerned because my bloodwork all came back normal. My only issue was my lining which has gotten better. So maybe getting the basics done you will be able to relax a little. Good luck!!

I had my annual back in January. I had a cyst on one ovary and my lining appeared a little thick. They had me go back next cycle right after my period to check lining again & to see if the cyst had resolved. When I went back in February, the cyst was gone and lining was normal.

ETA: blood work was normal too

Back Trying for Baby #2

I had a 2014 baby and was on the pregnancy board then. I've been back trying for number two for a year now too. Frustrating. Maybe your hubby will at least agree to a work up with testing from a RE to see if anything is wrong.

It really is so frustrating. I'm not usually an anxious person by any means but the more BFNs I get, the more anxious I become when I think about the possibility of there being an issue and the age gap b/n DCs growing (my whole life I planned on having two kids two year apart). At his rate, I'll be lucky if they're 4 years apart. I want another baby more than anything and it seems that everyone around me is popping out multiple kids or pregnant. I'm happy for my friends but I have my own cry sesh when I'm alone. Good luck to you!!

Thanks. I totally understand. It took me a long time to have my son and now again trying for number two is taking a long time and may never happen. Same with all my friends being pregnant or having multiple kids at this point. See you on the other board. Best of luck.

Good luck! I am on the quest for baby #2 as well. DD is 1.5. It was such an easy journey with her, not so much this time around.

Thanks girl! Its been a very trying time as I suffered (or currently suffering I should say) a loss but I'll be back to the TTC journey soon.
