Is Disney On Ice good for a two year old?
Its around my daughter 2nd birthday and i'm wondering if anyone has taking their children at that age. Did they like it and sit through it?

Yes! We took our girls last year. Dd2 was only 18 months and loved it! Depends on the kid I'm sure.

We took DD around that age. I don't think she was too into it and I found it really boring but clearly there are others that enjoy it.

I think turning two may be a tad young unless you think your dd has a very good attention span. I took my dd at 2.5 and the second half was torture. She also had some difficulty at age 3 seeing peppa live. By 4, it was a huge difference and she caught every minute of the nutcracker and rockettes.

I was thinking about this, too but I feel like we'd have to sit close for her to pay attention and I'm not paying $150 a ticket for it.

My twins are 2.5 and there is no way they would sit for something like that. They can't sit for anything for more than 10 minutes, lol.

We took my DD1 when she had just turned 2. She was mesmerized. It was great.

Depends on the child for sure. My older DD saw Mickey and Minnie at msg when she was 2 and sat for the entire show. My younger DD is 18 months and she doesn't even sit for a TV show lol

I'm going to the Disney Princesses Dare to Dream ice tour at Nassau Coliseum with my 2.5 year old daughter. At 18 months she sat through an entire Sesame Street Live show at the Tilles Center without budging. I can't wait!

My mom bought tickets literally on the ice thinking this when DS was 2. I just remember the huge toys from toy story kept coming all the way over by him and scaring the $hit out of him. Total backfire! It was waste of money for both of my kids at 2 even though I did it again with DD.

I think it depends a lot on your child and where you sit.
At 2, it's asking a lot of the child.
My best, most attentive girl was exactly 2 when we went to Rockettes with GREAT seats. She was playing under the seat for most the time and her 3.5 year old brother was barely able to do it.

Re: Is Disney On Ice good for a two year old?
Here's my experience - we took our daughter when she was 2 (I think the show was a couple days after her 2nd birthday) and she only sat through the first half. They had a 15-20 minute intermission between acts and we ended up leaving just after the second act started because she did not want to sit still. She loved the first act and sat pretty good for it. Once you were able to get up and walk around, she didn't want to sit back down.

Re: Is Disney On Ice good for a two year old?
My uncle surprised us with tickets when my daughter was two. I remember thinking, "Ugh! She's too young, this is going to be miserable!" But much to my surprise, my daughter sat through the whole thing mesmerized! Proved me wrong!

Yes, I think so. We took DD when she was 3 but she would have been fine a year earlier as well.
