Do your children - or any of their friends - have their own You Tube channels?
This seems to be increasing in popularity in our area so I am curious.

I monitor it, and I get his email to my phone, so I know when he gets a new follower.

I have caught DD recording herself on her tablet as she opens up a new toy or makes something.
Like she is some kind of you tube star.
She gets super embarrassed if I catch her too.

Thanks - my kids want to have one but, I've said no. Their lives aren't that interesting and you don't know who watches.
But, I guess I can see the draw because some of these people got so famous doing things that make me scratch my head...

My niece actually is a famous you tuber! She has over 1 million followers! my son wanted to have his own page. I finally agreed. He has a whopping 9 subscribers all of whom are his friends. I monitor what he posts. He's definitely not getting famous off of it but he likes it.

DS makes videos with our old FLIP camera and DH uploads it to DHs youtube account, but they are all private. Only our friends and family can see them.
Last year we made characters out of toilet paper rolls and a background out of a pizza box. DS wrote a script and we taped it. Then put it up on our FB.
It was a fun rainy day activity.

She is an older teen and she is a beauty vlogger so it’s meant more for teens than young children. I think she just cut a deal with Sephora.
