LIRR to JFK airtrain
Once you get to JFK and get off the train how do you get to your terminal?
EDITED TO ADD QUESTION: Is this an additional cost to your monthly LIRR ticket?

The Air train takes you to the various terminals. You just walk through and follow the signs to get inside to the terminal check-ins.

Re: LIRR to JFK airtrain
Yes the train makes a stop at each terminal. You get off at yours and walk through tunnels, walkways etc- all inside- to get to the check in areas Super super easy and I am directionally challenged

Yes. I believe the airtrain is $5 one way. You need to use a Metrocard for it.

Yes you use your monthly on the LIRR but once you get off in Jamaica and go upstairs to the air train area you have to buy a metrocard to get through the turnstiles that take you to the air train platform. I think it's $5, yes.
