Assistant Work Gifts
What do people get their assistants at work? Or what do you get. I am not sure what the norm is or what is too cheap.
Need help.

Not my assistants per say but I have 2 girls that work for me and I get them either gift cards to Ulta (they are both into makeup) or a Visa GC. (but i hate the fees so I try to avoid it)
Sometimes I also give them a bottle of wine with it because i know they love wine too

she gets a target GC, and the gift that I give to the rest of the staff (this year they get a bottle of Prosecco and a container of Moose Munch)

Assistant Work Gifts
My assistant is amazing. I always get him Bway show tickets, because he loves it. He is getting promoted in January so I might get him something else as well.

At a job many years ago when I was like 20, my boss you used to do that too for Christmas, it was wonderful! Now I work at a large University, and employees get nothing and my direct boss doesn't give a gift either.

Cash or a GC would be best. In my 20s I worked for an investment bank on the Executive Floor (CEO, COO, President, etc.) and the secretaries there got awesome gifts. Trips to Hawaii, thousands in cash, gucci bags, shopping sprees. It was amazing.

I have a boy assistant! It makes it so much harder. :)
Her reports to 3 people though, and we get him separate things. I will probably spend around $40-50, part gift card, part kitchen wares (he just moved & likes to cook.) He already got a bonus from the company.

I just saw on IG that Elvis Duran takes the ladies who work on the morning show with him shoe shopping every year for Christmas. They go to Saks and pick out crazy expensive shoes.
And I don't even get a bottle of wine from my boss.

I have a team of 7. I’m taking the NY crew to a nice restaurant lunch tomorrow and sent the teammate in the U.K. an amazon gift card. I’m also doing handwritten Christmas cards.
