Weekend family trip in August
Looking to get away a couple of days (just one or two nights most) in August with the family.
The kids are ages 15 - 7. Probably around 5 kids. We did Rocking Horse Ranch last summer. We just did Kalahari recently too. Any other ideas? My parents would be taking all of us. Nothing too far and doesn't have to be swimming the whole time bc I know my mom won't go in a bathingsuit.
Thanks!

Colonial Williamsburg would be perfect for that age group and there's Busch Gardens too.

Hershey/Lancaster
We are going to Hershey, but not with my parents. We don't want to go where there's a lot of walking. My mom had a couple of hip surgeries. Don't need anymore. LOL

We're doing 3 days at Woodloch Pines with family at the end of August. There's so much to do and prices are reasonable. We're renting a house.

Crystal Springs or Grand Cascades Lodge. Both in Hamburg/Vernon NJ. They are sister hotels.

Re: Weekend family trip in August
My mom can’t really walk and we recently stayed on the Jersey shore. We were at Ocean City (dry beach, family oriented) and there’s also cape May. There’s some sightseeing in Cape May, and the beach and boardwalk for the kids. My mom did not go on the beach but was so relaxed watching the waves from the house.

Cape May was wonderful. We stayed there this August and loved it. But I did find it was a TON of walking but that may be because our hotel was a bit far from the "action" and main part of town with the attractions and shops and we didn't want to lose our parking space there so we just walked EVERYWHERE lol
