Planning Easter menu

Hi! This is our first time hosting Easter. What is usually on your menu? It’ll be a late lunch/early dinner for about 15 people. Thank you!

Re: Planning Easter menu

I usually do a spiral ham, roasted asparagus, potatoes, carrots and a salad. Peas also go well.

I might make lamb this year too.

For 15 people, a spiral ham is super easy

We usually always do lasagna or stuffed shells, meatballs and sausage in sauce and a nice spiral, glazed ham served alongside soft dinner rolls. We keep Easter pretty simple and not fussy.

Re: Planning Easter menu

Those that are having Pizza Rustica, do you make it or buy it?

If you make it, can you post the recipe?

If you buy it, where do you get it?

My MIL recipe. She’s always simplifying everything and this is really easy and comes out delicious.

Pizza rustica
9x13 pan bake @350 for 1 hour

Ingredients:
2 pizza doughs
1 1/2 lb ricotta
8 oz mozzarella (Buy whole and shred)
8 links of sausage (all sweet or 4sweet& 4hot)
1/3 stick pepperoni
1/2 stick soppressata
6 oz provolone

Take sausage out of casing, chop up and cook.
Chop everything up and
Mix it all in a bowl
Lay dough in 9x13 pan up the sides
Spoon mixture into the dough
Lay 2nd dough on top, seal & fork holes (eggwash if you want)
