Fave food to pack for the beach
My kids don't eat sandwiches and are so picky. What are your favorite foods to pack for a picnic dinner at the beach?

I do bring sandwiches, but not usually.
We usually bring pasta salads, potato salad, fruit salad, lots of chips and dip, nut mix. That way we can pick at a variety of things.

I’ve never had fried chicken at the beach but when is ever a bad time for fried chicken?

Prob cuz it’s a hot food and why eat hot food when you’re out in the heat
I, however, think it adds magic to the whole beach going experience.

Was thinking that too. I can't do hot on the beach, but maybe a fried chicken salad.
My 8 year old hates sandwiches too, but he ate the turkey off a sandwich when we went to the beach the other day.
I also do cheese and crackers, peanut butter and crackers (he hates jelly), and even mac and cheese a little warm or room temp.
He is so tough when it comes to eating. LOL
Most of the time since he's a big fruit person I let him skip lunch and have snacks since it's usually cheese sticks, fruit and pretzels.

Tuna Fish sandwiches are my fave, aside from sandwiches we bring:
-Chips
-hard boiled eggs
-Fruit: grapes, watermelon, cherries
-Yogurt
-Crackers
-Cheese
-water, juice, alcohol

I'm not one for cold cuts so much. We always picked up bagels, chips, and fruit on the way to the beach when I was a kid.
