We celebrate Hanukkah, but we do at least 3 gifts to open each night, so with 8 nights, that would be 24 gifts minimum. I'm guess she has like 30 gifts from us. It's harder because we have to split it up over an entire week and it's hard to make smaller gifts seem as special. If she is not happy with one gift, I hope that at least one of the 3 will thrill her. But we usually do 1 want 1 need and 1 book per night. but then she also gets gifts from my dad and other family. oh... and then my in laws give her gifts on xmas, so she probably gets she probably gets 50 gifts over the whole season.

until DS stopped believing in Santa, every single gift came from Santa... even the stuff other people bought him.

i was team overboard, too.

like others have said... the window of time when they believe in Santa is very small.

i have always planned for christmas all year long. this way, even when i was very poor... Santa was able to spoil him.
