NY & Company

Has anyone shopped there recently? I haven't shopped there before kids, and my daughter is 10!
However, shorts popped up on my FB feed and I had to check it out. I am totally impressed.
There are some cute clothes, dare I even say, a little bit sexy.

Anyway, I was wondering how the sizes run.
I typically shop at Venus, White House Black Market and Gap for jeans only.

Thanks for any feedback.

Re: NY & Company

Yes I do shop there and find them to have some very nice stuff
I get a lot of dresses there for work.
The sizing tends to be pretty true to size but if you are in between sizes I'd size down- I find they run a little larger
Just look at the sizing chart though- it's pretty accurate

Re: NY & Company

I like a lot of their stuff. Especially their Soho collection.
They do run a drop large though.

How do you find the quality?
My friend said she found the work pant quality poor. However, that surprised me!

I find the quality poor. I washed a pair of work pants and the material felt odd after.

I haven't bought pants from there in a while. When I used to it, they served me fine because I prefer to wear pants a season or 2 then replace them. So for the price, they were fine.
The dresses though, the quality is great. Washes well, etc

It's my go to. There is one 5 minutes from where I live , which in other times was super convenient and why I shopped there so often, lol! I get a lot of work clothes there, along with casual sun dresses, tshirts & leggings which I use as pajamas. There are sales and coupons every other day, so it's pretty cheap. Quality is decent.....some items , like dresses, are usually very good quality and have lasted for years. As for pants, sweaters, blouses...it depends. At this point I can usually tell off the bat if something will hold up. I love the Audrey pants, but like Nell said, I don't expect them to last for more than a year or two. But the clothes are cheap enough that I don't expect them to last long. If I get a season or two out of something I am quite satisfied. But I do have some items that are 7-8 years old, so it really depends. I am also a huge fan of their jewelry! They do tend to run a little large, I'd order your regular size and go from there. I'm a 34 D, but yet wear an XS small in most of their tops, which really shouldn't be!. Overall, it's a decent store for work and casual.

I LOVE that store and used to shop there all the time. I found their pants and jeans to be good, and they were true to size. I havent been there in awhile or bought anything online recently, because I was not happy with their new styles, and found their prices increased especially since they had the Eva Mendes line.
