How much was your kitchen reno?
My husband and I have a old kitchen, but it's very large. I like the layout the way it is, so I am looking to just get all new cabinets in the existing places, and replace my appliances to stainless steel. Not looking to do anything fancy, because we don't think this is our forever home, just a starter. We want gray/white granite counters, laminate flooring, and white cabinets.
If this sounds similar to what any of you did on here, would you mind sharing what you spent?
I attached pics of my kitchen on here to give you an idea of the size. It is an l-shaped kitchen, with a little side area with a fridge and tiny counterspace

We redid our kitchen along time ago.
It cost over $20,000 + new appliances.
I found a few old pictures, they are in my albums.

How much was your kitchen reno?
If you are not making changes to the layout and if the current cabinets are in good condition, look into cabinet refacing. You may save significant money that way, but I am not sure.

the cabinets are formica, so i wasn't sure if I could reface them with wood or not. I was thinking of looking into Ikea cabinets, and assembling them myself. From what I hear, it's fairly simple

We did all new Ikea cabinets, new butcher block counters (ikea) backsplash, all new appliances (used someones 25% employee discount at HD, not stainless) and new lam floor for under $5000.

Cabinets semi custom- 11,000
Counters natural quartz- 6,000
island made with stainless steel top- 1,500
Backsplash is going in this week- 700.00

Based off 15x13 kitchen using a good line but affordable cabinet
10,000
4500-5000 granite
and then figure another 5k for appliances give or take so I'd say It would be a close to 20k project with flooring.

20,000 we redid everything and all new appliances. Granite counter tops as well

No contractor, those figures are based off purchasing ourselves.
Cabinet distributor would install for $2,500.00
I work in the industry so I had people to give me numbers for product.
