How long did it take you to find your current job?
My last job took me serveral months to find. Just wondering what everyone else's experience was.

My current job (that I've been at for 10 years) only took me a month to find. My previous job took me about 5 months to find. That sucked.

I love my job, so I only apply for things that come up that I know I want where I work because I really want to stay in the organization. When I decided to switch from Wall Street to my current field it took me about 2 months (which was really the time from applying to hire date).

6 months....started looking immediately when I realized I made a huge mistake by taking my last job. Started looking in March and started my new job in September.
It became like a full time 2nd job for me - I was determined!

I found one job within a year, it turned out badly. Now I just started something new, that is good, so in full a year and a hlaf almost.

at one point, it took me 6+ months to find a job when i was ready to leave my first so i know how frustrating it can be! That didn't work out well and i was very lucky and got my next gig 4 days later. Where I am now took about 2.5 months from application to first day.

I started looking in Feb. on and off.
Did it more actively when I was laid off in May. Knew it was coming 'cus of corporate restructuring.
Spend 2 months aggressively looking - had must have been 25 interviews total - and got several offers.
I turned them down and am so glad I did 'cus I finally got a great offer days later!
