People who get cold sores
Are you totally exahausted for a day or so before you have the signs of getting one?

I get flu like symptoms (achy with swollen glands). I dread when I get them.

My mom gets them and feels this way. Cold sores happen when your immune system is down, so 99% of the time you feel sick or are sick when you get a cold sore.
I've heard Abreva works wonders on them!

yes.. and if anyoart of your lip itches dont scratch it!!!! dont touch it.. out the medicine on it and DONT SCRATCH! thats what makes it come out more...

I get them on the bottom of my nose. So, just blowing my nose brings them out more!!!! I just started to take Lysine again and that usually prevents them for me but this season has been terrible to me in terms of minor illnesses.

Valtrax works like a charm! Get a script from your GP and take it as soon as you feel it coming (you know, before you can see it). It works so well for me!!
