Thyroid problem?
My Dr. said my thyroid came back a little off - it was 20.0 for the T3 uptake, from my yearly blood work.
anyone experience this? She isn't doing anything - wants to recheck in 3 months.

Re: Thyroid problem?
I don't have the paper work with me, but it was in the middle column , as all things are when not in range.

Re: Thyroid problem?
Hmm...I'm only really familiar with TSH and T4 levels, which usually are enough to indicate hypo/hyperthyroidism.
Do you have those numbers handy? Did she say that either of those came back abnormal?

Re: Thyroid problem?
This is my understanding- If it was a regular T3 test and not a free T3 test then the reason might be that many things can throw off your T3- like birth control pills but not effect the free t3, which you need to be more concerned about. So if your free T3 is in range then that's why he wants to wait and see.
Hope that helps a little
