spinoff to wisdom teeth
do you have to get a referral from your dentist or can you just go directly to an oral surgeon to have them pulled?

my dentist pointed out that I needed one taken out and referred me to a surgeon he knows.

My dentist pulled them. No need to see an oral surgeon unless they are impacted or otherwise difficult to remove.

The dentist pulled mine. Unless there is a big problem, the dentist can do it.
