OMG...I am so sick...Have had this cold/sinus infection for almost a week...

I went to the DR. on Wed. and her gave me an Rx for Zithromax. Today is the last pill and I still feel horrible.

Could it be walking pneumonia?

Sorry I have no advice other than to call back your doctor...... OR, I'm thinking maybe it was something viral that an antibiotic can't help, you just need to let it runs it's course. That's just my 2 cents.

Also, if it will make you feel better (ya know, if misery loves company ) I have had a canker sore for almost 2 weeks It got infected and my bottom lip is swollen.

I hope you feel better soon!!!!!!!!!!!! (actually, I hope that for both of us!)

zithromax is still working in your system a few days after you finish your last pill.
wait it out atleast 2 more days then call the md.
i woke up today with a MAJOR sore throat so im probably hearding to the md tomorrow.
i hate being sick !!

I've had the same thing going on for 2 weeks. I felt horrible the first week, but it is viral and the antibiotic wont work. They told me to drink plenty of fluids. I've been taking OTC stuff and its helped alot, but I think its got to run its course; hopefull you'll be feeling better in another week or so.

u should be feeling better. My dr gave me Zithromax for sinus infect. When it didnt work i went to a new dr who told me Zithromax is more for the throat. I take Levquin for sinusus. Works like a charm..

I woke up yesterday with a sore throat, and runny nose, i went straight to teh doc, got a zpak and a shot of cortisone.

Today is day 2, still stuff, sore throat is gone, just taking lots of fluids, vitamins, soup, and tons of rest.

If you sleep and rest during the day i find you can get better a little faster, then if you are running around all day

im not!
i actually think i feel worse, went to md was put on z-pak- that was tues. i hope a few more days of this mess and this will be over!

I just took my last zpak pill this morning and after resting mon-thurs at home, i am feelign much better.

Fortunately it never turned into more than just a head cold, but my doctor also gave me a cortisone shot monday which i believe helped this sickness not delvelop into much more than a cold.
