I had an appendectomy when I was in my teens. Worst thing besides that was a fibula broken in 2 places which required 6 screws.
Then there have been an array of torn muscles, sprained joints, stitches here and there

Fortunately for both DH & myself neither of us have ever been hospitalized for anything. Neither of us broke any bones or even had stitches.

Once when I was three, I had a terrible asthma attack and I was in the hospital for a few days.
Other than that, just a few day trips here and there  But never admitted other than that one time.

Just for giving birth (twice) and a few o/n stays in L&D for twin pregnancy related drama (pre-term labor & preeclampsia).
Went to ER a few times when I was younger thinking I was having a heart attack. Severe pains, palpitations, shortness of breath, etc. Never admitted though. Turns out all that "heart trouble" was caused by BCPs... as soon as I stopped them I never had another issue and its been years. Knock on wood!

I was talking to my dh about this too. It's funny b/c both my dh and I have never spent one night in the hospital in our entire lives. I had one trip to the ER for stitches above my eye but was never admitted.
Then we have a baby who is diagnosed with a Ulcerative Colitis/Crohn's and before she's 3 years old she spent more than 2 months living in a hospital. Plus she's gone back a few more times after that and we know we'll be back a bunch more times before she's an adult.
I never realized how lucky we were to have our health.

quite a few
at age 4 i had open heart surgery
in high school i had complications from an ovarian cyst
i've had foot surgery
3 broken bones
hospitalized with complications from mono
and once for an anaphylactic reaction to nuts
there are a few others i know happened but can't remember why or when, but those are the ones i can think of
