Conflicting emotions

So my really good friend had a baby on Sunday night. When I started TTC she kept joking that she was nowhere ready for #2. When she started TTC I was pregnant and then I m/c. We were due 3 weeks apart. Now, she has her baby and I'm still not pregnant again. I'm so happy for her and met the baby at the hospital today. He is adorable and I love him! But, on the way out, I stopped at the nursery window and looked at all of the newborns in there and my eyes just welled up. So many babies, why can't I have one? 14 months of trying...

And, to top it off, my 2 1/2 year old asked when she can have a baby brother or sister like her friend (my friend's 2 yr old). I told her I wanted one too and one day she'll have one. Just feeling sad and wanted to get it out. Thanks!

I'm so sorry! I know that whenever I saw a newborn I always got emotional - I can only imagine what it will be like now, after the miscarriage. Just keep having faith that you will have another beautiful child in your life! Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

I'm so sorry. This is such a hard thing. My DS too, keeps mentioning his baby brother. It breaks my heart. I hope the best for you.
