Ringworm
Anyone have experience with their dog having ringworm? A family member is going through a ringworm disaster and I am not sure what advice to give. One vet made it out to be a worldwide disaster, but the vet today didn't seem to think the end of the world arrived.
What has to be cleaned/addressed in the house? There is one other pet in the home that is not infected and two small babies.

Re: Ringworm
Ther was another poster recently on here whose cat had it and said similar things. Things turned out just fine for her. Try searching ringworm and FMing MamaBear (I think that was her name).

Re: Ringworm
here i am!
my kitten had ringworm just after we moved into our new house. i was petrified. the vet scared me, everything i read scared me, and was freaking out a little. i also have 2 young kids.
the good thing was that the vet took awhile to get the final test results to me. by the time they got the last set of tests, my 1 cat seemed to be getting better, and my other 2 showed no signs. so, we basically did nothing and took a wait and see approach. all is fine so far! the kitten that had it is all cleared up. nobody else in the house has any signs--not the other 2 cats, not my 2 kids, not DH or me. So, hopefully we are all in the clear. let me know if you have any questions at all!
