I hate people
DH came home from walking our pups tonight and told me he saw a dog quivering by the lake in our complex. We brought the dog out some treats. He was shaking, matted and starving. His tail was between his legs. It took us two hours in the freezing cold to get the poor scared dog into the crate. We brought the dog into our bathroom and gave him some food and water. Our plan was to take him to the dog hospital. About 20 minutes later security brought the owner to our apartment. The owner said he gets out all the time. They were drawing him a bath and he left. The dog was terrified to go home with him. I am so sad. I feel so bad for this dog. I can't get his little face out of my head. How can anyone just do so little for their fur baby. When the owner left he said if he gets lost again here is my apartment number.

omg how horrible! You and your DH are such good people! That poor pup..how can people treat these animals this way?

How about the owner make sure he doesn't get lost again????? Did the owner feel bad at all?

No he just yelled at the dog
It's sad that the dog was choosing to be out in the freezing cold then be with his owner. Makes me sick to my stomach. Poor thing.
