Yoga in Massapequa?
Anyone know of a yoga studio in/near Massapequa? I'd need it the classes to be beginner friendly.

Re: Yoga in Massapequa?
I do! I do!
I go to Hot Yoga Massapequa.
I never did yoga outside of in-home DVDs before and love it here!
It is absolutely geared to beginners. Note: I've been going for over 2 years and can still not fully get into a lot of the poses and never feel uncomfortable there. You just do what you can do.
You just need to make sure you are hydrated and learn to adjust your breathing.
Patrick offers a beginner's special of $20.00 for 10 consecutive days of unlimited yoga.
Check out their website:

Feel free to FM if you have any other questions.

Re: Yoga in Massapequa?
You definitely should!
Also keep in mind, not to judge your first class, by your first class.
This is the main reason they give you the 10 days in a row for twenty bucks.
It takes about that long to adjust to the heat and learn to breathe in that kind of environment.
Also do not pay attention to what anyone else is doing. Some people will look like rock stars, but that's not most of the makeup of the average class.
I had class tonight and I was in the front row, sitting out for a lot of postures (I know I was not well hydrated and I didn't sleep much last night cuz my son kept me up).
Have fun! It's a great, clean, welcoming studio.
