CPSE Paperwork!!!!
12 pages of stuff to fill out just for the initial evaluation!!!! Are they kidding me??? It is going to take me until the day of the first evaluation to finish it.. (Sept 28th)....  Sorry. Had to let that out!!!!

I just went through this.
You have to fill out a lot of the same thing again when you choose an agency to do your evals.
And then when you meet with the child psych you need to sit and fill out more forms that they score as part of the eval.
Just remember that this is a GOOD thing, so your child can get what they need if there is an issue.

I got it all filled out for now.. HE has 3 evaluations on Sept 28th.... I know it is a good thing... But the paperwork is so repetitive. I am writing DS's name for everything now!!

I work in a similar field for a living, but with adults, and one of the biggest vents is that they are always having to tell "their story" again and again.
It's just as annoying for the workers though to deal with all the paperwork the state makes us write out.
It's justification for funding and services though ;).

CPSE Paperwork!!!!
Committee on/for Preschool Special Education. Preschool age (I believe it's 3-5), to qualify for services, they consider your child a "Preschooler with a disability". But this is who you initially apply to, to do an evaluation.
