IUI didn't work
14 DPO and a BFN. I stopped taking my progestrone pills so my AF will come. I was really hoping for an extra speical Christmas this year. This was our first IUI. I didn't want to get my hopes up but I always do. I can't help but blame myself. DH had a great sample (over 90 million with 80% mobility). I feel like my body failed again. I know that sometimes women have to try multpile IUIs before working. How many IUI until a BFP?

It's so hard to start out with these treatments with such high hopes, just to see them fail on you. The reality of it is though, an IUI has (AT BEST) at 30% chance per cycle. That means that for most people if it's going to work, it will work after a few attempts.
I got pregnant from my 3rd IUI. (my loss at 17wks had absolutely nothing to do with it)
I always told myself you just NEVER know which cycle will be your last... Hopefully it's the next one!

I'm so sorry :( I had an IUI this month and it didn't work either. Awful feeling  Keeping my fingers crossed for 2013!!

Are you trying again this cycle? I went to my Dr. today. I'll be having my 3rd iui/clomid in Jan but this time we are adding the trigger shot.

yes. i go back to my RE on the 3rd. i just finish the clomid 100mg yesterday. i took it for 5 days. i'm hoping i have a lot of follicle and we can set up the IUI.

You are ahead of me. I started Clomid last night. I'm on 150 mg. I go back on Monday. I keep telling myself- This is a new year. Be positive and think nothing can go wrong!

Yeah. I'm trying to stay positive too. We just gotta keep our heads up and keep trying. My gutt is telling me that 2013 is gonna be a lucky year for all of us.
