Seed spinoff: Flax seeds
Does anyone eat flax seeds? If so, what do you do with them? I just bought some from Whole Foods and am looking for idea. Thanks !

Here's a couple of recipes that I used flax seeds for:

Ground up and put into 99% or 93% fat free ground chicken or turkey for meatballs or meatloaf (totally tricked my MIL into thinking she was having beef meatballs)

I get the ground ones, since the whole ones pass through your system without any absorption. I put them in yogurt, cereal, oatmeal, roll chicken cutlets into them I stead of bread crumbs, out them in pancake batter, cake batter. Protein shakes.

Re: Seed spinoff: Flax seeds
i put some in my oatmeal and if i'm making a sautees, i throw some in there. Its very nutty, so gives it a good texture. We like it a lot... well DH doesn't know what's in it..
