What is easy to make for 7 adults for a dinner party?
Besides pasta.....we always have pasta. Any ideas of what I can cook that's not too difficult?

first thought was lasagna...but that's pasta!
what about tacos? you can have a taco bar and everyone make their own.......with some margaritas. Tacos are so easy. Fail proof, really.

Totally agree with this suggestion.
And I also don't feel like lasagna is that common.
I only make it once or twice a year and don't know anyone in my immediate circle who does it for get-togethers.

chicken!
you can do lemon pepper chicken
or chicken cutlets
or chicken in some sort of sauce you prefer, like marsala or tarragon cream
i like chicken because you can literally make any side dishes with it (pasta, rice, potatoes, any vegetable really, fruit even...)
so versatile and most people love chicken.
or mini-thanksgiving is always a hit
do turkey breast and sides like potatoes, sweet or mashed and cranberry/apple sauce and a salad and biscuits

cold antipasto and maybe some bruschetta bread to start. Eggplant/chicken parm as the meal with a nice salad and you're good!

The big loin of pork from BJS is great and already marinated. You can just throw it in the oven. I always get compliments on it!
Also, a spiral ham is easy and you just throw it in the oven!
I also like to do 2 london Broils. That always goes over well with Creamed Spinach, a salad and a potato of some sort!

Are you thinking buffet or plated?
Pulled pork, Mac n cheese, coleslaw, cornbread, roasted butternut squash
Grill steaks, chicken &/or shrimp, baked potato bar, creamed spinach or asparagus
Fajita or Taco bar, rice, salsa chips
shrimp scampi, orzo, green beans or asparagus

A pork loin is so simple, and can be so delicious. I marinate my own (just prefer it--less sodium and tastes less processed IMO). I usually just toss it in OJ/soy sauce or terriyaki sauce-whatever. Add some garlic and let sit a night or two.
I serve with mashed potatoes and saurkraut. If you don't want the saurkraut route try a green salad.

Something fall like like chili with toppings, cornbread, and a big salad. You could also do a roast beef or pork with roasted fall veggies.

I just recently made paella for 10 - it was a crazy amount of food. It's Tyler Florence's recipe from Food Network. Rice, chicken, chorizo, shrimp, and clams - something for everyone!
I made a bunch of Spanish tapas-style apps - a Spanish cheese / meat board, marinated spicy olives, papas bravas with garlic aioli, white bean crostini, and homemade fried calamari. It was really fun. We got just about everything from Fairway (Douglaston).
Also served Spanish wine. My girlfriend made chocolate and banana empanadas for dessert.

Shishkabob ( I always do both beef and chicken for variety).
Baked potato (butter/sour cream/shredded cheese on side)
pita bread
salad
some veggie (you could even do veggie kabobs with mushroom, zucchini, tomatoes, peppers etc)
tsatziki sauce
Only thing that needs tending to are the kabobs otherwise the rest can be made before hand and served once the meat is ready.

I think the easiest and tastiest thing to make is pork tenderloin. Marinate in Lawrys Steak and Chop and grill. Let it sit for a couple of minutes and then slice it. You can do a risotto and spinach or some other green veggie.
