SIRM GHI girls
Can someone who goes to SIRM with GHI insurance FM me about how much a fresh IVF cycle copay is over there. I am expecting it to be a lot more with the personalized care plus manhattan location. I want to begin with Dr. T next cycle but not sure how much to put away.

Did they schedule you an appointment with Jessica? She will go over everything with you, you can have the meeting by phone. The total for a fresh cycle is 13 and change.

Wait 1300 is a lot more than RSofNY? I think I paid 1700 at RSOFNY bc of the aneshthesia. Plus another like 2500 for ICSI and 700 for assisted hatching. I spent like 5k with GHI at rsofny....crazy thats what I spent even with insurance.

Wait 1300 is a lot more than RSofNY? I think I paid 1700 at RSOFNY bc of the aneshthesia. Plus another like 2500 for ICSI and 700 for assisted hatching. I spent like 5k with GHI at rsofny....crazy thats what I spent even with insurance.
She meant $13,000 total IVF
With RS, it's around $7000 bc I only paid $1200 plus $750 anesthesia. ICSI was covered for us so I didn't pay for that.

Me too or I will have a heart attack! I have spent so much money this year and if this last partially covered IVF doesn't work I will have to get a second job to save up for another IVF. Uhh insane.

Everything at SIRM will be a lot more $$ unfortunately. I'm worried. Clearing a few of my cc's just in case with my tax $. I'm estimating around $5000 out of pocket for SIRM which will include the fresh IVF, assisted hatching, and embryo freezing. Their lab is phenomenal compared to RS so it's worth it.

I'm fine with 5k. I paid that at Rsofny and got nothing out of it so if this works then its the best 5k I spent. I keep on getting 0% credit card offers in the mail so if need be I'll do that. Hoping their lab is better and that should help us. Fingers crossed for us!

I actually found everything to be way more affordable at SIRM than at my previous RE and they give you very specific figures. It was very detailed and organized. They will let you know exactly what your insurance covers and what your oop costs will be.

I have ghi but by the time I made it to SIRM we had used up our IVF coverage for ghi and went through my dh. His policy had a small limit and it was basically our last shot. We did go through ghi for all meds and monitoring.

Thanks, I'm looking forward to some organization!!
I had one IVF cycle with RS.. Paid my copay in full a month prior, signed all paperwork stating that I have zero balance and I just got a bill for $3200! I am flipping my shit right now. Everything was preauthed, we were fully covered for ICSI, did not do any freezing or assisted hatching so someone messed up. I'm so over that office!!!!

SIRM GHI girls
Make sure to save all receipts ladies...if paying out of pocket you can claim medical exp on taxes. I think you have to spend 7% of gross income.
