Meds to refrigerate

I have some menopur and gonal f leftover from last month's IVF cycle. Looking to save it in case we do it again in a few months. Do they need to be stored in the fridge or at room temperature? Thanks Chat Icon

Meds to refrigerate

Menopur room temp. Gonal is refrigerated unless you've let it get to room temp; can't be re-refrigerated

Gonal is refrigerated?!?!?!?! OMG I thought it was room temp. When they shipped it to me it wasn't in that cooler bag thing like the Ovidrel was. Uh oh.

Once it has been opened or left at room temp it is still good for 30 days. I wonder why they didn't ship it in the cooler bag? Which pharmacy?

If you have the vials that you reconstitute yourself (not the pen), they do NOT need refrigeration.

Meds to refrigerate

there was a lot of conflicting info on refrig vs room temp... i just followed whatever it said on the meds. Im pretty sure my gonal said to refrig on it.

Re: Meds to refrigerate

I used half of my 900 pen in mid Dec. Is it still good? I kept it in the fridge.

Oh thank goodness. I have the vials that I have to add the liquid to the powder to and mix them, not the pen. Phew. Thank you!

I used to use Freedom but had to switch to CVS Caremark. Not a fan. But I don't have the pen so I am in the clear with keeping it at room temp Chat Icon
