Easter Menu
I am hosting Easter for the 1st time this year. Actually it is our first big holiday ever. Just curious what everyone else's easter menu looks like. I need some inspiration because I want it to be different from the same things my mom and mil make.

Re: Easter Menu
It's just me and DH (new city, just moved) and it's really not traditional at all.
Onion and goat cheese tart as an app. Duck Ragu with pappardelle with a side salad. Dessert will probably be creme brulee.

My mom usually will make a ham or roasted pork. I don't like roasted pork so that is off. I like ham so I might make that.
My mil makes sometimes a turkey or roasted pork.
I was thinking making 2 meats possibly a spiral ham and something else. I know lamb is very traditional but I have never made it. Any good recipes?

Re: Easter Menu
I host Easter every year for a large crowd (30-40 people). I haven't totally finalized my menu for this year, but I don't vary it too much, so here's the basic plan:
Appetizers -
Cheese platter Antipasto platter shrimp cocktail spinach dip in a bread bowl baked clams Probably a few more I always make a special punch or cocktail in my punch bowl (last year I did a rose sangria)
Main -
Roast turkey breast Baked Ham Several marinated London broils Assorted rolls and condiments and cheeses (so people can make sandwiches with the meats if they want to) Lasagna Carrot soufflé Twice baked potatoes (or sometimes scalloped potatoes) Salad of some kind Sometimes I make quiches or cornbread
Desserts -
Fruit Easter bunny cake cheesecake brownie/cookie platter people always bring other desserts assorted Easter candy
