CPSE meeting round #2

Last month I posted on the chairperson of the CPSE meeting would not approve a center based preschool for my LO.

To make a very long story short, approval was given for the preschool, speech, OT and PT. The district was very accomodating and even stated that knowing how late it is, they will assist in packets going out that day and any phone calls that ned to be made. They also made a "plan B" if we are unable to get LO placed in a full day program.

I should mention that the chairperson that originally denied the preschool was not present and no longer works for the district. I have heard a lot of rumors but I will not disclose them on a public site.

The chairperson has moved to another school district and I hope other parents don't experience the problems we did or have to jump through the hoops my LO had too.

What a shame that the chairperson is moving on to another district instead of just giving it up. It's so disturbing.
