One more question...cable outlets
Need someone who can install two cable outlets for me in rooms that don't have it yet. Any recommendations?
Optimum doesn't do this, do they?

Do you just mean setting up TVs in another room? I assume you will also need another box? Your cable company definitely do that when they bring you the new boxes.

No I mean the actual outlet. There's no cable line in the rooms now.

Right, the cable company will run the line into the new rooms for you.

Spoke to optimum. They will run the lines but honestly I'm not sure what kind of job these guys will do. To run it to the bedroom I think it should go through the attic but how qualified are these guys, ya know? I'm just a little concerned about wires showing everywhere. Want it done the right way. Anyone know someone?

Optimum may not run wires through the walls/attic. Technically they are only responsible to tack the wire along the baseboards and stay inside the house.
If they do wire through the wall, you should leave them a NICE tip.

this was my DH he didn't trust they would do it the way he wanted so he just ask them to do everything but run the cables to the room and he just did that part himself the way he wanted it done.
where are you located?
