shellac chipped
what the hell?? just got it on saturday and today is monday and there is a sizable chip on my thumb. should i call? just go back and ask them to fix it? i mean, this is something they should fix for free, right? URGH i am a SAHM with two kids and the whole reason i got the stupid gel manicure was so that i wouldn't have to worry about this for two weeks. i don't even know if i will have a chance to get it fixed.

Re: shellac chipped
Yes they should fix for free- it is supposed to last WAY longer. Whenever i get Shellac it lasts 2 weeks and the only reason I remove it after that is grow out, not chips

shellac chipped
Happens to me. That's why I won't get it again. That and it ruins my nails.

What brand are you using? Shellac should not ruin your nails and should come off while removing very easily without any tools. That's the only brand I use and I've found that it doesn't chip and after I soak for 5 minutes I can remove it just by lightly scraping with my own nails.

Re: shellac chipped
I can't wear it - it just doesn't stay on my nails. And I've had it done at a few different places ......it chips and peels

Maybe it was the gel polish I got? Is that the same as shellac? I think the brand was CND. Whichever it was, happened twice!

I find my nails weaker after a CND shellac mani and I think it's because you have to soak it in acetone to remove it and the acetone is what wrecks my nails. I try to only do it for special occasions or vacations

Re: shellac chipped
I've tried a gazillion brands and it doesn't last on me unless I Have my nails "wrapped" in the UV gel first.. it's stye only way I can have my nails where they stay nice..
