Acupuncture
For those who did acupuncture before they had a successful cycle of ivf, how log before did you start? I have no idea when we will try again but I am thinking of trying this as my insurance pays for it and I might as well try something different. Tia

I was doing it for awhile before my successful ivf BUT I think starting one month for a full cycle before is good.

I did acu weekly for over a year while cycling but no success.
For the successful cycle I only did it @ my clinic immediately before and after the transfer. That time it was laser acupuncture.

I started acupuncture in late May 2012-August 2012. I stopped because it wasn't covered by my insurance so my OOP was crazy. I then had a BFN during my fresh cycle, but 33 eggs at retrieval with 27 fertilizing. From that batch I had a FET cycle which resulted in DD and another FET cycle and I'm 5 weeks pregnant now. My fresh cycle before that one I only had 17 eggs and non of them resulted in a BFP.

I started 2 months prior to my first IVF cycle which resulted in a BFP. I highly recommend.

I did it for over year, never got a BFP but def took the stress off. GL!

I think it helped drop my FSH to 16 from 25. or it just dropped bc of a new month, either it gave me hope and relaxation.
