Sonos - when are they again?
I'm 8w3d with #2 and have no idea when these happen. I had one at my first appointment which confirmed pregnancy (heard the hb) but I had also had a mc prior to this pregnancy. Is it at 13 then 20 then growth as needed? Is there one before the 13 week scan?

Sonos - when are they again?
Depends on the dr and the pregnancy, but for me it was 8 weeks to confirm pregnancy and see/hear hb. Then 11-13 weeks for nt scan. 20 week anatomy. Next one will be 32 weeks for growth.

Sonos - when are they again?
Around 8 weeks to confirm uterine pregnancy, 12 weeks for NT scan, 20 weeks for anatomy, between 30-32 weeks for fetal scan. They may more frequent if you are high risk.

Sonos - when are they again?
Totally depends on your dr and if you are high risk or not.
I had one at 10w, 12w (nt), 16w (early anatomy), 20w (anatomy) so far.
With DD I had all of the above plus a fetal echo at 22w, then growth Sonos once a month til about 35w and then weekly til delivery.

Re: Sonos - when are they again?
As others said, depends on your OB and the pregnancy. The only guaranteed ones are 8, 12 and 20.

Sonos - when are they again?
I had one at my first OB appointment to confirm the pregnancy (9 weeks), the NT scan (12 weeks), anatomy scan (20 weeks), and growth sonogram (32 weeks). All scans except for the first one were done at the hospital I'll be delivering at, LIJ, in the maternal fetal medicine office. I know some doctor's do them all in house and some send you to a place -- just depends on practice. If you are high risk for some reason, I'd imagine you'd have way more than the 4 "standard" ones!

32 week growth sono is not standard covered by insurance. Insurance covers 3. Only some drs do the 32 week growth sono.

Eeeks, I didn't know this! Hope my insurance company covers my growth sono! The doctor said it was medically necessary -- my anatomy scan at 20 weeks showed that my placenta was starting to cover my cervix (placenta previa) and they needed to check to see if it had moved on its own, which thank goodness it did! Had it not, I would have had to be put on immediate pelvic rest and would have needed to have a scheduled c-section.

I had a lot of sonos. A LOT. All were covered bc they were medically necessary and were preapproved.

With my first I did as well, especially at the end.

The one at 12 weeks is only if you are doing the NT test. I did not have that test so I did not have that sono.
