kind of random baby shower gift question.

So I really want to make a "bath basket"for my friend. But the bath she registered for is packaged in a box. Is it weird if I take it out of the box and wrap it in clear wrap??? I wanted to put all the bath time essentials inside of the tub itself to make a nice presentation. Just thinking she may not be able to return it without a box if she needed to. It's from BBB. Maybe I can fold the box and place the " basket" on top??? Or should I just forget the basket idea and leave it in the box?

I would do it and just save the box in case she needs to return it.
You can give it to her separately later on

For my shower my best friend did this. Our infant tub came in a box so she took it out, filled it with all of the items she bought and wrapped it in cellophane and gave me the box after.

That's a cute idea but as the others said I would def give her the box just incase she needs to exchange it.

I'd give her the box, unopened. Maybe get her an inexpensive basket to make the "basket" part with all the other accessories. Maybe one of those webbed plastic totes so it can double as a bath or beach tote.
