Has anyone been on femara rather then clomid?
After 3 consecutive losses (1 last year and 2 this year) I went back to RE and they sent me for a lot of bw.. B/c I also have endo and have a harder time getting pregnant as well he decided to put me on Femara this cycle not clomid b/c of the endo.. I have taken clomid in the past but not the femara. Has anyone had experience with this? If yes how was your outcome? is it very similar to clomid? I am on CD5 and day 3 of taking it. I go for a saline sono this thursday and then the 18th to check egg production. I should O around the 20th. TIA.

I was on femara never clomid. Usually the first 5 day I was on femara but the last round I was put on it mid cycle to see if it would help push other follies to grow, no change the last round. It failed.

I was switched to femara after I told my re that I was getting terrible headaches from the clomid. It pretty much does the same thing but won't thin your lining like clomid.

Clomid is more common but the Femara I think had less reported side effects. Unfortunately for me it raised my blood pressure on day 3. I had to stop and RE had me get a clearance for my heart (which was 100% fine) until I could begin again...
